I chose to undertake an 8-week plan from Simon@VPCC in the hope of boosting my fitness for the spring & some “lumpy” sportives in the summer.

it gave me structure and drive with my indoor training to a point where I enjoyed jumping on my turbo, my first time using a plan in training peaks worked seamlessly

I enjoyed the strength training gym plan, although already a regular at the gym it gave me focused sessions and added more variation to my existing gym plan and now I’m feeling super strong on my bike

All the information supplied was easy to understand & Simon was available via his Facebook group to answer any questions I had.

With it being my first venture into a proper training plan I wasn’t sure what results to expect but over the 8 weeks, my FTP increased by 15% which I’m more than happy with.

The biggest improvement ( although not measurable ) is my body's ability to recover …. I no longer have the dreaded next-day aches & pains.

The plan has proven a success for me & I would gladly recommend VPCC to anyone wanting to feel fitter, healthier & faster on the bike, I will definitely be looking to do more training in the coming months.

Very much looking forward to the Velo Performance/Rocacorba Girona trip in September
